Most of the insects are from a local bush classed as a Wet Hickory/Oak forest, near Wheatley, Ontario, Canada. Others are from Essex County: Point Pelee National Park, Kopegaron Woods (near Goron Woods), Hillman Marsh; also Wheatley Provincial Park and Rondeau Provincial Park in Kent County.
Over 2,000 insects have been recorded. Each one has its own page with physical description, main I.D. marks, size, habitat, flight time, life cycle, recorded locations, synonyms, references and the museum where the ‘type’ or original insect was first found and described.
I’m new at website building, so it will take me months to get all 2,000 pages up.
